Dr. Elward graduated Cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. Prior to that, she received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Michigan State University, in Physiology and Nutritional Sciences. After Temple, she completed a general practice residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Elward has a strong focus on continuing education and learning the latest technology and best techniques. She has taken courses at the world renowned Pankey Institute as well as aesthetic courses through the respected Spear Education center. Through these courses she has learned advanced treatment planning, treatment of difficult TMJ cases and achieving aesthetic perfection through restorative dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Elward enjoys playing volleyball, bowling, traveling, and her daily crossword puzzle. She currently lives in downtown Austin and loves exploring the city and trying new things.
